Jetty at West Kirby

3 girls dancing alone to music on the jetty @ West Kirby late Friday evening to celebrate the end of school.

I think these images show the plight of the abandoned teens who are suddenly unable to take-part, express, connect. They have been robbed of their impact as young people being a nuisance on the local beaches. They are isolated in limbo and have been cheated of their right of passage.

I love their vital force , without an audience they try to fight for fun despite the cold, the night and the empty marina.
