I am in no hurry.

Lazing in the hazy sun,
We always said
There was no hurry.

Days and weeks pass,
Of course
There was no hurry.

Now every morning,
I wake up and get my coffee
There is no hurry.

"How long will it be like this?"
"You're alive, you're so lucky.
You shouldn't be in any hurry."

I say it over and over
and over again
Until it sticks in my mind:

I am alive, I am so lucky.
And for the rest of the day
I am in no hurry.
